Ctrack, in collaboration with the Youth Employment Service (YES), is offering a 12-month opportunity for unemployed South African youth to gain valuable experience in the marketing field. The programme focuses on equipping participants with essential skills through meaningful work exposure. As a Marketing Assistant, you will support marketing operations through event coordination, stock and supplier management, and administrative duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing internal and external events, including company gatherings, trade shows, and promotional events
• Ensure branding and promotional materials are available and set up at events
• Coordinate event logistics, supplier communication, and on-the-ground activities
• Support with post-event evaluations and reporting
• Monitor and manage marketing stock, including promotional items, corporate gifts, and branded clothing
• Track inventory levels and ensure adequate stock is available for events and campaigns
• Maintain an organised storage system and coordinate the distribution of marketing materials and promotional items
• Work closely with the marketing team to manage procurement of brand collateral, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and quality standards

Qualifications

• Must be a South African citizen
• Aged between 18 and 29
• Must be unemployed and not have previously participated in the YES programme
• Must reside close to the workplace (Centurion)
• Highest qualification should be Grade 12
• A qualification aligned to the position is an advantage
• Must not have a criminal record
• Must be able to start employment on 1 May 2025
